Over 500.000 individuals in North Carolina are hungry. It’s difficult not to think of people who are less fortunate when you spend time with friends and family throughout the winter months. As a result of the covid-19 pandemic, layoffs and corporate downsizing have aggravated the problem, making it much more difficult to combat than before.
This is a problem that our neighbors deal with on a regular basis. As a result, during the next three months, our Community Cause effort will focus on raising awareness and doing everything we can to provide meals to those in need.
