For the next three months, our agency will continue to advocate and protect the helpless animals who are in need of loving homes; however, this campaign, we are focusing on the wonderful local animal rescues who make this all possible! We are so hopeful to be able to fund some of the relief needed by animals facing euthanasia housed in shelters around our area. The animals in these shelters have been victims of neglect or abuse. We want to reduce euthanasia and ensure that these amazing animals find their forever homes and families.
In North Carolina alone, nearly half of all the animals housed in shelters in our area will be euthanized. This is a troubling reality for man’s best friend, and even though the challenge is huge… there’s much that we can do by making sure animals in these shelters will receive proper veterinary care and get adopted rather than being euthanized.
