SureVest Insurance Group, a locally owned insurance provider with offices serving the Raleigh and Charlotte metropolitan regions, is launching a state-wide charity effort to raise funds for Dana George, a local mother who needs a stem cell operation to manage her Multiple Sclerosis.

SureVest Insurance Group, a North Carolina-based insurance and financial planning firm that provides coverage to hundreds of families and businesses in the Raleigh and Charlotte regions, is initiating a charity effort to benefit Dana George, a local mother of two that needs an operation to slow the progression of her Multiple Sclerosis.
Dana is a mother of two girls, aged 9 and 14, and she is struggling with Multiple Sclerosis. MS causes progressive damage to the nerve cells and spinal column, and although there is no cure, a hematopoietic stem cell transplant will give Dana more time to raise her girls. The cost of the procedure is significant, and funds raised from this charity event will go toward paying for Dana’s treatment.
“It’s important that our community can come together and provide support to families in our area that are struggling to overcome difficult situations, and we’re going to do whatever we can to support Dana and her girls,” says Chris Clark, owner and manager of SureVest Insurance Group.
To publicize the charity event in honor of Dana George, Clark and the SureVest Insurance team are establishing a social media presence and launching an email update system to keep North Carolina supporters informed. SureVest Insurance Group has worked with nearly a dozen North Carolina non-profit organizations and charitable causes over the last two years.
